This topic came up the other day - who has the upper hand when playing Punch-MINI; the driver or the passenger?
Instantly I said it was the driver - there have been many, many, many times when Andy has gotten me on a MINI that he's seen coming towards us on the other side of the street but that was blocked from my view because of the car ahead of us and angles.
Of course, Andy disagreed with me and said that the passenger had the advantage because they can scan parking lots and side streets while the driver has to concentrate on a pesky thing called driving.
Mind you, Andy scans parking lots while he's driving anyways, but I digress.
So which is it? The driver or the passenger? The passenger or the driver?
Upon further consideration, I've come to the conclusion it's secret option 3, the back seat passenger. Especially if the person is sitting in the middle. They gain the benefits of both the driver's angles and view of oncoming traffic and the ability to scan the area they are driving by. And they can decide to punch either the driver, the passenger, or both. This little theory of mine was proven by my bother when we went to Buffalo a little while back and he smashed his way through the trip.
So my advice is to be the back seat passenger whenever possible. Be a back seat driver while you're at it.
