Literally!
So last night I went out with some people and on the way to the pub, I introduced, well let's call him B (to protect his anonymity), to the game. Of course this was after he told a story about how he basically knocked out this other guy on a dare. What was I thinking?
Anyhoo - flash back 2 days ago, when the grand supreme little darling and I went to the Travel clinic to get some shots for our upcoming trip. Of course we both got jabbed in our punching arms so Andy wisely called a truce until our bruises had healed. Wise man - I should have done the same with other players. Instead I just asked them to punch my knee instead.
You see where this is going, right?
So back to the trip to the pub, B is watching me and the other player punch back and forth, amazed at our keen MINI spotting skills. And then he saw it - a MINI that neither of us had seen yet. You remember that rush don't you? Well B totally got it...
...and wailed my sore shoulder.
Yeah it hurt.
B was super apologetic and felt really bad. For the rest of the night when he saw a MINI, he tapped me lightly (on the other shoulder, of course).
The moral of the story, it's good to spread the word about Punch-Mini. It's a super fun game and a great way to release some of that built up aggression. Just be careful when playing with newbs.
They just might get carried away! :P
